Alternative Provision (APS) Secondary

Embedded within the Alternative Provision curriculum is the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development of our students. We aim to develop our students’ confidence, knowledge and awareness through directed teaching topics and the general day to day running of the provision.  Our curriculum supports students to develop their own decision making, understand the impact of their behaviour on others and respect and be aware of the institutions and people that make up the society we live in. We encourage our students to respect the beliefs of others, recognise right from wrong and develop their social skills in order to become respected citizens.

We offer a varied curriculum for all students and also work in collaboration with schools to support some students with their GCSE work whilst they are out of school on short term placements.
