Science

Science

We aim for our pupils to develop a natural curiosity of the world around them. We encourage them to observe, investigate, question, predict, interpret evidence, analyse, solve scientific problems and decide if something is a fair test. They will build up a body of key knowledge and concepts and become equipped to understand the uses and implications of science, today and for the future.

Activities are very practical and enable them to have “hands on experience”. This includes weekly forest school lessons which incorporate learning in the outdoor environment. This can help overcome the pressure that some pupils may experience with classroom learning.
